Cruising Highlights Aboard Jasmin

The warm and sunny climate of the Turkish Mediterranean coast allows superb cruising between the beginning of April and the end of October. With gentle winds and midsummer temperatures reaching up to 35oC, the Turkish coastline has gained an enviable reputation as one of the world's best cruising grounds. In summer, the prevailing north-westerly wind, known locally as the Meltemi, increases in strength to give a welcome breeze in the heat of the day before gradually dying towards sunset to leave luxuriously warm evenings.
